Day 110 - Sunday, August 15

Sleeping on the couch at Frank's sister's apartment in Portland (left PCT at mile 1847.8). A zero day.

We got up this morning and slowly packed up. Some people are going off to do a hike this morning, but we need to get packed up and get back to Portland in order to do some chores. We ate breakfast which included a blueberry-rhubarb pie that Jamie had brought yesterday after his race.
Frank and I ate half the pie and let everyone else have the renainder.  We left about 11 with the tired pups.
We drove back the same way we drove up and stopped in southern Washington for some burgers and milkshakes. We got back to Portland, unloaded the car, and then Kaurine drove Frank and I to the Dollar Tree and grocery to do our resupply.

The grocery took a long time as Frank was buying food to send herself via boxes for the Washington section of the trail. We went back to Kaurine's apartment and ate dinner really quickly before crashing. We had also hoped to wash my sleeping bag, but ran out of time, so we hope to do that in a couple weeks in Hood River.

  2. Blueberry-rhubarb sounds amazing. I don't blame those pups for being tired!
